Have you ever been to San Francisco? Yes? Ok but have you visited Point Reyes National Seashore? NO?? OMGOSH you must go the next time you’re visiting Northern California. It’s the BEST!

So Point Reyes is about an hour north of SF and the drive up there is unlike any drive you will take in California. Point Reyes is full of beautiful fields with adorable cows munchin on grass and wild flowers as far as the eye can see. I love it!

Did you see the pictures of the shipwreck? How cool is that!? I’ve never seen one before and rumor has it that no one knows how it got there! It’s located in a small town with shops and restaurants where you can grab a bite to eat before you adventure onwards.

After you pass the shipwreck and grab a bite to eat in their downtown area, you can stop at the Cypress Tree Tunnel. It is so insane and unique! I strolled up and down taking a million pictures. I totally want a tree tunnel just like this leading to my future house!

Next stop was the Lighthouse (sadly not pictured because it was too foggy to see). The Point Reyes Lighthouse has been in service for over 105 years! While walking towards the lighthouse, the view to the right is ocean shore spanning for miles and miles. Completely took my breath away.

Admission to Point Reyes National Seashore is free and you can even camp there if you like. It’s perfect for a day trip for sightseeing and hiking or even a small weekend getaway. Here is a link where you can find more information. Let me know if you go so I can see your awesome pictures!!!
