These  chocolate chip cookies are made using both chocolate chips and chocolate chunks. A dash of sea salt is added to give it that umf that makes these the BEST chocolate chip cookies you've ever tasted.
Servings: 25 Cookies
  • 12 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 3/4 Cups Flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 9 oz Dark Chocolate roughly chopped
  • 9 oz Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
  • Sea Salt
How To Make
  1. Preheat your oven to 400*F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper
  2. Melt 12 tablespoons of butter in a medium saucepan on a medium to high heat for 6 minutes. Remove from stovetop and let cool for 20 minutes.
  3. After your butter has cooled, pour the browned butter into a mixing bowl. Mix in 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract followed by both the granulated and brown sugar. Mix for 6 minutes.
  4. Add in the egg and mix for another minute.
  5. Slowly add in flour, baking powder, and baking soda
  6. With a spatula or a wooden spoon, fold in chocolate chips and chopped dark chocolate chunks.
  7. Place the dough in the fridge and let sit for 20 minutes.
  8. Using a scooper or a spoon, roll the dough into balls and place on a cookie sheet.
  9. Bake for 9 minutes or until the edges of the cookie are nice and crisp and the middle is fully cooked. Sprinkle sea salt over the cookies and transfer to a cooling rack.
